Teacher's Academy is born to make the process of education effective and enjoyable. We conduct workshops and courses of varying lengths on teaching skills, motivation and professionalism. Active learning where the learner is actively involved, forms the core of our curriculum. Our programs train and enable the teachers to facilitate active learning and excel in the classrooms and motivate their students. Through the Program-In-Action sessions, we help teachers form a habit of the skills they learn. We also offer career guidance for teachers.  Workshops are not limited to any one particular subject area, but focus on generic skills for teaching and anyone in the role of a teacher/trainer can attend.

Uma Garimella is the Founder and Director of Teacher's Academy. She has designed the curriculum of these programs after extensive experience and brain storming with students, teachers and administrators.
She has a mix of corporate and academic experience of 25 years out of which 14 years were as faculty member at University of Hyderabad, Department of Computer and Information Sciences. She coordinated an innovative postgraduate interdisciplinary program in IT in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She closely worked with CMU to study the effectiveness of methods like self-paced learning, e-learning, learning-by-doing and sequential learning. 
In the last few years, she was Visiting Professor at many institutes and has served on the program committees of international conferences and reviewed papers. 
 The Academy is guided by an Advisory Board of experienced and inspiring persons connected with the education system.
